Internship with Rockport Center for the Arts
Beginning in January of 2020, I had the pleasure of working with the Rockport Center of the Arts in, you guessed it, Rockport, Texas. Working primarily with two others, Elena and Karol, we handled projects for upcoming events and internal documents.
Our projects ranged from flyers, posters, and other printed materials, to social media graphics, video clips, animations, voiceovers in the digital sphere.
Personally my pride and joy is the Film Festival Poster, and the watercolor RCA logo animation. There were other small works aside from what’s displayed here, but these are what I feel were the strongest works.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, many of the events, including upcoming events, were cancelled.
Film Festival Poster
This concept was made with a rockabilly theme, but I decided to give it a decidedly ocean spin with the shark man and the sunset beach setting. It’s fitting for the city of Rockport. This ended up not being the final design, but it is the last version I personally had my hand in.
Watercolor Splash Animation
This small video clip was meant to be played along with a voiceover narration for a televised PSA about the upcoming ArtLoop event.
