These two movie posters were conceived as a class project under a simple goal. One shared title, but two different genres. The two genres here are the horror and western film genres. One is about a damned soul in the Underworld escaping a Grim-Reaper-like figure, while the other is about an old sheriff chasing down his last bandit before passing the torch to a cocky greenhorn deputy. The horror poster has a more modern horror aesthetic, while the western poster was given an aesthetic more reminiscent of 70’s VHS westerns, complete with floating heads.

Despite being a venture in copywriting, these two posters ended up visually being strong pieces in their own right.
